Providence
Providence is a gorgeous New England town located in Rhode Island. Providence is the capital of Rhode Island and is also home to Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design. The beautiful cobble stone Benefit Street, also known as the Mile of History, is where the John Brown House Museum and the Providence Athenaeum is located. Other notable neighborhoods in Providence include Federal Hill, which is known for its restaurants, and College Hill, which is known for its historical 18th and 19th century homes. Providence Children's Museum, the Roger Williams Park and Zoo, and Waterplace Park are also popular attractions in the Providence area. Downtown, you'll find bars, restaurants, galleries, theaters, hotels, parks, and more! During your Wacky Walks scavenger hunt in Providence, you'll explore all that downtown Providence has to offer while gaining points and competing for first place on the leaderboard.
About Wacky Walks
Wacky Walks is a royalty themed scavenger hunt. It is similar to a board game, in which the power, or control, of the game shifts from one player to another and instead of a board, you'll be exploring the streets of your city with your smartphone to complete the game.
Wacky Walks will start out by designating who will be the first King or Queen. The Royal Highness will then direct the other players to locate items and participate in challenges throughout the kingdom (your city). You'll use our scavenger hunt app to prove you've found correct items and completed the challenges correctly.
The goal of the scavenger hunt is to find all the items and complete the challenges, & to have fun with family and friends in your city!
Wacky Walks is done completely on foot and usually takes about two hours to complete. But don’t worry, you won’t be alone. You’ll have a remote guide that will be available in case you get stuck.
